Mission

Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.

Vision for the Future

Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.
In such a world, every women is literate and has access to education, health care, legal and economic resources on an equal basis with men.
In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Around 31,000 members belong to 1,203 Zonta Clubs in 65 countries.

About Our Club

The Zonta Club of Bunbury Inc was chartered on 28th May 1988. Our Club is in District 23, Area 3 and is Club number 1194.

Meetings

Members attend dinner meetings on the third Tuesday of each month (except July) at 6.30pm for 7.00pm at Ex-Tensions Restaurant, Bunbury. From time to time, club meetings are held at a member's home.

If you are actively engaged in or have experience in a recognised business or profession in a decision-making capacity, and are interested in learning more about Zonta, or would like to attend a meeting, please email bunburyzonta1194@yahoo.com.au  or call 0403 8000 30.

Objects of Zonta

  • To improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women through service and advocacy.
  • To work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world of fellowship of executives in business and the professions.
  • To promote justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
  • To be united internationally to foster high ethical standards, to implement service programs, and to provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations, and the world.

Nonpartisan and Nonsectarian

Zonta International, its districts and its clubs are nonpartisan and nonsectarian.
