Application for Funding

Zonta International's aim is to advance the status of women worldwide. Our club gives one third of the funds raised to International Projects and Programs. Further funds are directed to District Projects - the Zonta Birthing Kit Project, Zonta Breast Care Cushion Project and the Yarri Wada Project are our present District 23 projects. More information about these projects and programs can be accessed via the main menu and via the International and District links. 

Funding is also reserved each year for Community Projects. Non-profit organisations that offer programs that address Zonta's aim are able to apply to the Zonta Club of Bunbury for assistance with funding. The number of projects funded through our funding process, and amount of funding granted, depend on the success of club fundraising activities. 

Application for Funding and Project Evaluation and Acquittal Forms can be accessed by opening these links and are also available from the Main Menu on the left under 'Documents'.   Round One applications are due by the 30th April 2010 and Round Two by the 15th October 2010. Applicants are informed of the outcome of their application at least 4 weeks after the closing date. The Board's assessment and members' endorsement of recommendations at a club meeting are part of the whole process, and this takes some time. We are not able to make 'snap' decisions,  so advanced planning by groups applying for funding is crucial.
